…my condolences to the families and friends of Tom. I am sure words cannot describe what everyone is going through and I pray with my full heart that they are able to find the strength and courage to manage in this difficult time.
Dear the hecht family and friends,
my heart goes out to all of you, he is now an angel, looking down on everyone. I did not know Tommy until he was announced missing, My prayers go out to everybody who has been touched in some way, and his family and friends! I was deeply saddened to find out that he is no longer with us. I pray for your family and friends as well. remember to celebrate his life, and not dwell so much on the death….(after the grieving process) I think he would want you all to carry on and remember the good times you all shared with him.

As someone who has been following this story with hope and prayer, I feel such a deep sadness and sympathy for the Hecht family. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. I am so very sorry.

In an effort to identify the good in an unfortunate incident, the spirit that has come over the community of Milwaukee through this has been beyond inspiring. I pray this spirit continues and that this loss is not in vain.

I am so sad for what Toms family and friends have had to endure these last 12 days. I continue to keep his friends and family in my thoughts and prayers as they try to deal with this tragedy.
As many of the posts people who didn’t even know Tom wanted to post something, I am one of them. I have been following the story since the begining. Seeing Tom’s parents on camera and when they said this is a “parents worst nightmare” I think that doesn’t even say the least. My husband and I have one child who is 11 and I can’t even imagine what we would be doing or feeling. I give so much admiration to all of you for being so positive! All of you will be in our family prayers. Again this is a situation where life is so short. Be kind to each other especially family and appreciate everything you have in life. God blessings to the Hecht family!!!
